The Tea Shoppe, WV

Location: Seneca Center, Morgantown, WV 26505, USA
Some of my favorite childhood memories are of going to tea shops with my grandmother when we lived in Alabama. We would try on pretty hats and eat cucumber sandwiches while we sipped tea with our pinkies up.
It's something I've really missed since moving away and now I'm always looking out for good tea houses.

A friend of mine recently introduced me to The Tea Shoppe in the old Seneca glass building in Morgantown, WV. We had tea and desserts there and it was perfection. They have an impressively large selection of teas to choose from and the food and desserts are delicious!

I got Lavender Earl Grey tea which is now my favorite tea ever. The pot of tea and dessert plate comes with a cranberry orange scone served with lemon curd and Devonshire Cream. It's all so fresh and delicious. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Along with that you get an assortment of fresh baked, bite sized desserts of the day.

It's a lovely tea room with a calming, friendly atmosphere and a really cool gift shop with all your tea junkie needs! ;) It's also the perfect place for a ladies outing or mother-daughter date.
Do you guys have a favorite tea house? Do you guys know of another one to try in the area? Let me know in the comments! :)

Sunday Sounds: Coldplay "A Head Full of Dreams"

On December 4th, Coldplay released their new (and possibly last) album entitled,

I have always loved Coldplay and this album is every bit as good as their previous work. The mood is energetic and positive while keeping it cool and mellow. The 11 track album features many guest stars like Beyonce and Merry Clatyon.
One of the things I love about Coldplay's style are their "mini songs" that they sometimes add to the end of a song. It's like they just didn't want to end the melody and kept on making beautiful music!
My favorite songs on the album is "Birds" and "Adventure of a Lifetime."

What do you think of their new album? What's your favorite track?
Let me know in the comments!

P.S. I am going to start making Sunday Sounds a weekly thing. If you have any music recommendations let me know below!

Happy Sunday and hope you all have a blessed week! :)

Anne with an "E"

I am a sucker for beautiful books, whether they be new or old. Not only do they make for lovely decoration, they are also a great way to express yourself and add your own personality to
your home. #win
My dear friend recently gave me this gorgeous copy of Anne of Green Gables by Rifle Paper Co. for my birthday and I'm in love with it (scroll down for the link!).
It's such a great classic to add to my collection. Maybe one day I'll be giving it to my daughter to read!

“Because when you are imagining, you might as well imagine something worth while.”

“It is ever so much easier to be good if your clothes are fashionable.”

“Kindred spirits are not so scarce as I used to think. It's splendid to find out there are so many of them in the world.”
